"Kuuipo" Ring

Silver Ring: Remist Hawaiian Jewelry
Gold Ring (Vanessa): My Aloha Paradise [Credit Elizabeth]
Zac (Silver) and Vanessa (Gold) each have a ring that they got in Hawaii on their vacation in about May 0f '07. (Check out a scrap book of the vacay here) These rings are from Hawaii and can be worn by women and men. They are used for either engagement or commitment rings (of course they use them as commitment rings). The ring is a Hawaiian heirloom engraved with the word "kuuipo", a Hawaiian word for "My Sweetheart" or "My Love", and is pronunced [koo oo ee poh]. The engraving is done in an Old English block lettering in black enamel. The ring also has a hibiscus scroll/design. It is originally written as Ku'uipo because "Ku" means my, while "uipo" means sweetheart! If there is someone you love like a boyfriend or someone you're planning to propose to, a "Kuuipo" ring is perfect for a commitment or engagement ring!
